STAKR.space publishes its infrastructure security practices so network participants know what the operator commits to maintaining.

## System hardening and updates

STAKR.space’s published policy describes Lynis-based system auditing and hardening, plus operating-system and application security updates. Automated checks support maintenance; they are not a substitute for an independent security certification.

## Network and operator access

The policy specifies allowing necessary ports and protocols through firewalls, restricting server access to authorized personnel, and using SSH keys or two-factor authentication, with IP restrictions on selected services.

## Monitoring and recovery

Prometheus and Grafana support monitoring and alerting. Backup servers and redundant services support node recovery following hardware failures.
